Thanks for stopping by! My name is Mindy Merenghi, hence the blog title M^2. I started this blog in January of 2009 (on BlogSpot) because it seemed like the fun thing to do. Over the past few years, it has evolved into a regular hobby. It became the real deal when I, or should I say my hott blog designer, moved it to WordPress. (I can call him hott, he’s my boyfriend- heh). I try to blog at least every other day, but if I’m ever quiet for longer than usual – forgive me because I’m probably hanging out with aforementioned, long-distance boyfriend.
The content on my blog ranges from personal life stuff, to hobbies, like crafting, biking, and fishing, with a big part of it being photography. Expect to see lots of photos and sometimes even videos! I hope to include more tutorials and tips as time goes on. I try to keep a good balance between writing for myself (to record my life) and for others (who may know me personally or maybe not!) Hopefully, it can bring enjoyment to a variety of people either through my writing, photography, or both.

I don’t consider myself an expert in anything, but they say you are your own worst critic. I like to think that writing is one of my strong suits and that I am becoming more knowledgeable in photography every day. I’m so close to earning my BA that I can almost touch it! I will have a biology degree and a certification to teach from a local university I call MUST. I’m in my last semester of classes and will do student teaching in the fall. I may graduate with a 4.0, so I guess you could call me studious. Heh. Once I step foot in a classroom of my own, I may feel qualified enough to write about teaching.
I’m in my early twenties and I still live with my Mom and brother at home, and am missing my Dad (1959-2009) dearly and thus a piece of heart. His fight with cancer and his passing changed me forever. Without my faith in God, I don’t know where I’d be today. I strive to center my life around the fact that I am a follower and lover of Jesus, but I don’t claim to be anything close to perfect. I love to listen to Christian/worship music, as it is a good way to stay focused on Him. It just so happens that my boyfriend is the drummer for a new and upcoming worship band called John Tibbs.
And don’t think I’m forgetting to introduce this boyfriend I’ve mentioned several times now, Ryan. He’s the apple of my eye and the one who knows me best besides my Heavenly Father. Ryan and I have been together for the past 5 years and someday I will be his wife (and we’ll live in the same state- heh). ♥
A few random things I haven’t mentioned… I love cuddling, babies, almonds, long walks on the beach (no, seriously), iced tea, coffee, the number 214, sleeping (probably too much), and sunshine.
